"Recovery to Discovery"- Don't Give up 

65 years old female undergone complicated cataract surgery in her Right Eye with nucleus drop (Brown). She was operated for dropped nucleus removal with Total Vitrectomy, fragmatome and SFIOL (scleral fixated IOL surgery )  fixation by modified flange formation using Green laser technique, 1 week after complicated surgery. She RECOVERED well in 2weeks and the BCVA was 6/12, N8. On 3rd postop week of SFIOL surgery, she again came with total loss of vision in Right eye and was DISCOVERED with total retinal detachment & vireoproliferative changes temporally. There was no hole noted in retinal periphery. She was again operated for retinal detachment surgery without removal of SFIOL. Silicon oil injection was done. Her vision improved to 6/24, N24 on 1month follow up .
