“suture across” technique for small corneal patch grafts
for management of corneal perforations. 

Purpose: describe novel modification of surgical technique for small corneal patch grafts
Retrospective interventional case series
Methods: Modified technique was used to seal perforations measuring <4mm, it involves an initial bite in the host tissue, passing the suture through the entire diameter of the graft, and making another bite opposite the initial one. Tectonic integrity & anatomic success was evaluated 
Results: The surgery was performed in 9 eyes. The mean age was 37.44± 20.36years .etiologies of perforation were secondary to microbial keratitis (n=5), trauma (n=3) & post foreign body removal (n=1)
The mean size of the host and graft was 2.27mm and 3 mm . No intraoperative complications noted. All eyes had  well-formed AC in the immediate postoperative period. There was no further surgical intervention required for tectonicity
Conclusion: Corneal patch graft, with suture across method, is effective modification of  technique for managing corneal perforations measuring < 4mm
