Bang-on IOL - Accommodative & Defocus profile of different IOLs 

Study Design- Non randomized, prospective study
Objective - To study the accommodative power and assessment of Defocus curve of an eye after intraocular lens implntation.
Methods - Total 60 patients were included in 6months interval for monofocal IOL implantation under topical anaesthesia by a single surgeon. The study was done on total 49 patients. The patients were divided in 3 groups, Gr I - Zeiss CT Spheris 204, Gr II RayOne Spheric 100C and Gr III B&L Focus force Basic.
Results - The accommodative power was measured clinically in the form of ability to read near chart unaided while defocus curve was measured uniocularly as well as binocularly on followup interval of 1week postop and 6week postop. Gr I showed highest accommodative power in 91% patients followed by Gr II - 47% and least by Gr III - 17% on 1 week postop. The results were not significant on 6weeks follow up. The defocus curve was steep for Gr III, followed by Gr II & least for Gr I.
