Study of Cinical,Radiological & Histopathological correlation in diagnosis of Orbital & Adnexal mass

Study Design: Prospective Observational 
Purpose: To study clinical,radiological and histopathological correlation in diagnosis of Orbital and Adnexal mass.
Method: A total of 70 patients presenting with orbital and Adnexal masses were  examined and clinical diagnosis was made. After radiological investigation was chosen to determine location & characteristics of the mass the radiological diagnosis was noted.Histopathological diagnosis was noted and all three were compared.
Results: The most common benign mass was Epidermoid cyst followed by Conjunctival cyst. The most common malignant mass was Sebaceous gland carcinoma followed by Squamous cell carcinoma.Concordance between all three diagnosis was observed in 31.4% while no concordance was noted in 12.8%.
Conclusion: The study highlights indispensable role of Histopathology in confirming the final diagnosis and emphasizes the importance of multidisciplinary approach for optimal management.
