Undisplaced result of displaced flap of LASIK

A patient was operated for LASIK and underwent LASIK procedure without any complication. For his personal reason , he missed his 1 st follow up and came the clinic on 2 nd day post op with a complaint of blurred vision and pain. On slit lamp examination , he was diagnosed as displaced flap in Left eye.He was taken in OT next day for flap reposition under topical anaesthesia. There was complete displacement with epithelial ingrowth over stromal bed. Epithelium was scrapped off from under surface of flap and flap was replaced back. It showed macrofolds so epithelium from flap was removed , ironing was done with instrument and flap was replaced back with BCL over it. Next day patient vision was 6/9 which improved to 6/6 in a week time. Patient is under thorough observation for any epithelial growth.
