Half stop and chop Phaco emulsification 

This procedure description is of a modification of stop and chop
After CCC and hydro dissection the nucleus is sculpting is done in the inferior half then the nucleus is rotated 180 degree and the superior part is now chopped with a good purchase of the Phaco tip in the ledge of the groove to split the nucleus vertically with a dialler 
Then the two hemispheres are further chopped and eaten 
This reduces the Phaco power and gives a clean chop till the posterior plate
